Silymarin
This rare herbal plant of high value can be planted and also grows in the wild so has no effect on soil degradation. Silymarin is widely used in treatment of the liver diseases (liver cancer, hepatitis, and jaundice) and to detoxify liver. It is rich in antioxidants and protects liver cell membranes.
Soba
In 2015, the company has begun the process of introducing Japanese buckwheat of “Kitawase” variety from Hokkaido, Japan, to Mongolian soil. This variety is well suited to dry and cool climate of Mongolia and does not require pesticides and fertilizers for crop protection. Estimated average harvest per hectare is 1.0-1.5 tons.
Rapeseed
Rapeseed, a plant of high economic value, is grown for production of edible oils and biodiesel. It is also extensively used as an ingredient of metallurgy, soap, animal skin and textile production. Since the end of 20th century, an economic value of rapeseed has been steadily increasing.
Rapeseed is an annual plant, resistant to cold weather and drought. It is proven to grow well in Mongolian climate.
Wheat
Wheat is the second most important grain crop after rice in the world. It is also used in beer fermentation, and production of alcoholic beverages, biodiesel etc. Wheat is also grown for animal fodder in limited quantities, and its stem and straw is used for construction and roofing.
